Jacob’s Well hopes to break the poverty cycle by sinking fresh water wells in villages, establishing health and resource centres and providing life changing education for children from tribal villages and the slums.

Jacob’s Well Foundation was founded in 2005 with offices in Melbourne, Australia and in Orissa, India.

In India Jacob’s Well Foundation is a registered not for profit company. Donors are eligible to get 100% tax exemption according to Income Tax U/S 80-G. Tax deductible receipts for Indian donations will be issued by Jacob’s Well Foundation.

In Australia Jacob’s Well Foundation Ltd is a registered Public Benevolent Institution, ABN 28 152 740 344. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
