Rejoice Multipurpose Hall

The laying of the roof slab was a momentous occasion. To ensure strength the slab had to be laid in one run, therefore 84 men and women laboured in 44 degree temperatures from 9:30 am to 2:30 am the next morning. Half a dozen women carried water from the local spring all day and for the next fortnight they watered the slab to ensure it cured correctly. Click on image below for larger view.
